About the Project
My name is Sergei Sorokin. I am 61 years old, and I am the founder of the "60+ Live" project.
Today I already have a team that helps develop this project. But it started from a very personal feeling.
I was born in Ukraine, then lived in Russia. In early 2022, I left — first to the United Arab Emirates, and then moved to France, where I now live with my family.
Many years of my life have been connected with creating new projects — in the fields of information technology, medicine, artificial intelligence, and other innovative areas. New ideas, new products, new markets — this is the environment in which I have lived and worked for many years.
Approaching my sixtieth birthday, I continued working on new projects and hardly thought about age. Neither at 50, nor at 55, nor even at 60 did I feel any internal changes. I was doing what I love: creating, launching, developing.
But in my 61st year of life, a strange feeling occurred.
I suddenly caught myself thinking: "Listen... you're already 60+."
Yet nothing had changed inside. The same interests. The same energy. The same desire to create something new.
But the number itself seemed to move you into a different category — into a different stage of life.
I communicate a lot in the community of project founders and know many startups, including projects for the so-called "silver generation." But almost always they are created by people 30+, 40+, sometimes 50+. And almost never — by people 60+.
And then I asked myself a simple question.
Why are projects for people 60+ created by people who are not themselves at this age? Why does the voice of the generation sound from outside, not from within?
And I thought: maybe it's time to create a project for people 60+ by someone who is 60+ themselves?
But this is not a project about limitations. Not about "slowing down." And definitely not about "surviving."
This is a project for people who continue to live actively. Who are interested in the world. Who learn new things. Who make plans and continue to create.
This is how 60+ Live was born.
This is not just a project. It is a community of people who don't want age to define their possibilities.
I invite you to join. Let's develop this community together and shape a new 60+ culture — a culture of activity, energy, and the future.
